Todd Thomson

Presently, Mr. Thomson is Chief Operating and Financial Officer at Kairos Ventures. Kairos invests in groundbreaking technologies in both physical and life sciences emanating from the leading Universities and research institutions in the U.S.

He is also Co-Founder, past Chairman and Board Member of Dynasty Financial Partners, the leading investment and technology platform for sophisticated independent advisors. Dynasty serves about 60 RIA firms nationally, with an average AUA of $2B, and their investors include BlackRock, JP Morgan, and Schwab.

Previously, he structured and co-led the recapitalization of West Coast Bancorp which was sold to Columbia Bank and co-founded Cordia Bank, which acquired a majority interest in Bank of Virginia and was sold to First Citizens Bank.

From 1998 through 2007, Mr. Thomson served in top management positions at Citigroup, including CFO of the company and CEO of the Global Wealth Management division. Throughout his nine-year tenure at Citigroup, Mr. Thomson served as a member of the most senior operating committees of the firm.

Prior to Citigroup, Mr Thomson was SVP Strategy and Acquisitions for GE Capital, Co-Founder and Partner at Barents Group and Manager at Bain & Co.

Mr. Thomson is a member of the Boards of Dynasty Financial Partners, Century Bank, Sivers Semiconductors (SIVE), Actuate Therapeutics (ACTU), Zooz Strategy Ltd. (Zooz), Linnaeus Therapeutics, PteroDynamics, NeuroBio, and NanoClear Technologies. He is past Chairman of the Wharton Leadership Advisory Board. He is past member of the Board of World Resources Institute and the Board of Trustees of Davidson College.

Mr. Thomson received his M.B.A. with Distinction from the Wharton School of Business and his B.A. in Economics from Davidson College.
